By accessing or using CompliLet ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

CompliLet is a compliance management dashboard for UK landlords. It helps you track certificates, manage deadlines, and stay compliant with UK rental regulations. The Service is provided by Jelifish Ltd.

3. Account registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
• Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code.
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without written permission.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected at checkout. Payments are processed securely via Stripe. You may cancel at any time — your access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

6. Free trial

New accounts receive a 30-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required to start. At the end of the trial, you will need to subscribe to continue using the Service.

7. Data and content

You retain ownership of all data you enter into CompliLet. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. You grant us a limited licence to store and process your data solely to provide the Service.

8. Disclaimer

CompliLet is a compliance tracking tool, not legal advice. While we strive to keep regulatory information accurate and up to date, we do not guarantee the completeness or accuracy of any legal or regulatory content. You should always consult a qualified professional for legal advice.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jelifish Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to fines, penalties, or losses resulting from missed compliance deadlines.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or an in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
